After watching the game last night has this proved that the team are without a top goal scorer to replace Harry Kane out injured + other player's not in the starting line up or haven't showed any form to warrant a place, Foden showing how poor we looked up front without any crosses from either wings with poor service .With a well drilled Japan team & the lack of any constructive attacking football from England is the writing already on the wall, with 2 friendlies to come before the World Cup starts was this a one off game beaten by a far better team that in my opinion will go a long way in the competition.

Hello Mike, I think with the build-up to the group games & topping the group they've sort of made a problem for themselves yes they looked good but to my mind they didn't really play any team's of significance. I've always said when they come up against better sides that they will struggle.

I don't get the point of these friendlies - none of the players want to play at this time of the season for fear of injury. None of them on the pitch wanted to give their "all" other than those on the periphary that are trying to "win" a place. (Lewis Hall n Andersen deservedly).
So many subs, no continuity, no commitment - No point!
Only players that are match fit and in form should go. Stones hasn't played all season but they are wanting him to have a chance to prove his fitness???? - jobs for the old boys spring to mind
