What a washout today , booked in at my local fisheries today, well it's rained all match my kits all soaked, going to have to get it all cleaned & dry out when we actually get a dry day, & prep for the next match.
Think this is the pattern we have with this crazy weather we are having in the winter month's with very high percentage of rain right across the country, driving back wasn't much fun either rain just running out of the field's.

I don't get out much to go fishing, but I new it was forecast all day today.
Could of stayed at home in the warm, but that's not me just sat in the armchair watching t.v. I've got to be doing something I can't just sit about.

Unlucky Dave - didnt realise you were a fisherman and a match fisher at that.
Ive not got out for a long time now but was always keen on an open match but got fed up with carrying all the kit to the peg edpecially if you was drawn the other side of a series of large lakes!

I was sceptical about global warming at first but you’d have to be as thick as Donald Trump to deny it now

We used to get seasons when I was a lad, you know the sort of thing, wind and rain in spring and autumn, sun and warmth in summer and ice and snow in winter with the exception of snow we can now expect the rest at any time

All to-do with the current position of the jet stream barrelling in from the Atlantic, just about got my kit backup together just want a dry day to dry out my nets out.
