Ybs weaning before first race

What time frame do members part there ybs off before the first old bird race
I know Mike was very successful from the first race be interested in his method for this as well as others

Normally a week or so before first race although I’m not interested in the short ones, having said that I have won the First race a few times.

Don't really rear of racers if I have it's been 6 weeks before first race n normally win that race.
