Fenwick and Howard got me in to bleach 12 plus years ago
Chris was honest to me and told me to trust him it will work
He was correct
It still seems wrong but did work
The closest thing i have found is quill boost my cocks currently are roaring about and tight as they can be
Tomorrow I will check the PH
Today I checked my tap water at 6.3
My bottled water at 7.2
Tomorrow I will check the the quill boost ph
Ph with the quill tonic came in at 3.9
Which is ok but I prefer more near 4.2-.5
I will reduce it to 7ml to 10 litres and check again
I only prefer it over 4 as my poultry farmer said he aims 4 to 4.5 I have no facts to back this up though

What are you trying to achieve by adding bleach to your birds drinking water?
Have used the quill tonic in the past, but found the ph varied with the outside temperature. Spoke with the guy at quills and told him this. I said that everybody had a different ph, depending on their locality so it’s impossible to state on the label how much to add per litre. He asked me to send a water sample down for him to test and agreed that the outside temperature and the varying differences in water samples did have an effect. Stopped using it after this because I did not want to ph my water everyday.ps I worked in the labs for over 36 years.
I did change the amount added on a daily basis, thought to myself this is getting to complicated.To be honest can’t remember which way the ph went with temp. Used quill products about 6-7 years ago without checking my diary.
