After 5 ob races birds with minor prices are killed yb the same even if he's only left with 3 yb to go over He's never in last 50 yrs gone against He's principals with pigeons but he's results are just unbelievable.

Say someone just liked sprinting you probably never win the top overall prize like fed averages
But could win 10 old bird races
Do the best sprinters go in the king of Antwerp or is it just like a fed averages we have that don’t always mean the best took part

I don't no but some amount of flyers in antrewp to be champion that many times

Yes I’m not knocking him at all he’s way above what I could be
Just didn’t know if that’s the main thing or more a thing where the sprint experts are not interested
I also don’t really think his yb selection is fair
In 2021 my ybs won the fed twice both them birds were poor after that season
Yet I had 7 cocks all win the fed in 22 and 23 bred in 21 that were just steady as ybs didn’t take much in prizes I think 2 got low fed cards as babies
His advice probably could lead a new starter to be to harsh on his yb team

It maybe be middle distance because he said he started with speed birds n took him 2 seasons with hes speed birds to become champ of antrewp

There’s an excellent article on the net on Mons Roodhooft by Ab Schaerlakens, it always confused me how the Belgians award “prizes” to birds that are a Tatie field behind the winners especially when some have adverts claiming they have won so many prizes without stating positions, when our local club used to send 500 birds to a race (admittedly a long time ago) we had 4 prizes it took years to increase that to six
