Hi Bowbroom, I was looking at a clip this afternoon on YT it just said it was more beneficial in the growth & development of the youngsters.
Mine get Linseed (flax seed) in the mix I feed, Bamfords multitask but I don't think it's a deal breaker in rearing good young birds.CHARLTON34 wrote: Fri Nov 28, 2025 7:04 pm Any thoughts when breeding the inclusion or % of flax seed in your mix, do you think the youngster's in the nest develope better, anyone had any experience with this.
it seems to be very consistent Neil. I like it because there isn't a grain that is left by the birds. It's the best seller where I buy it. That along with a mix called 'Fast as Fook'NeilA wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 2:10 pmIs that Multi task consistent king as in percentages of grainking wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 12:16 amMine get Linseed (flax seed) in the mix I feed, Bamfords multitask but I don't think it's a deal breaker in rearing good young birds.CHARLTON34 wrote: Fri Nov 28, 2025 7:04 pm Any thoughts when breeding the inclusion or % of flax seed in your mix, do you think the youngster's in the nest develope better, anyone had any experience with this.

Mung Beans
Naked Oats

I've never fed it in a hopper Neil. I don't think any mix should be fed in a hopper as some birds always stat to waste corn choosing what they want.NeilA wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 3:11 pm
