blame to which I genuinely and humbly apologise.
Ive said what I needed to say and chuffed to get it off my chest
The sentiment is still the same along with the passion to hi-lite how poor the performance of the RPRA actually is.
I do not initiate any of the posts but get totally pissed off when someone like you praises them for such a ridiculously poor performance. They are quite blatantly taking the piss out of all of us mate and you are so blind to it that you stand there and praise them and then have the gall to call me an idiot.???
I dont want a war with you Goose so shall we leave it there mate cos its must be getting boring for others and I dont want to get chucked off the site.

Yep you have been misguided on a few things in my opinion. It does make me wonder who's filling your head with 'info' on various subjects. But no need to apologise were only having a 'debate' on a forum its all good.
You will have to point out to me where I have praised them though? Me saying that being in a surplus is a positive and running it better than has previously been the case, is world away from praising them.
I'm at work and bored so I can war all night if you wish but yeah don't want the bad atmosphere returning to the site so we'll lay down our arms

I don't think that there's much that people can disagree with really

Is this the sport in decline ? Yes

Is this the case throughout Europe as well as in the UK ? Yes

Is any of this the RPRA's fault? Not directly no

Has the RPRA always been ran as well as it could be ? No

Can it be ran better? Yes

And that is basically it. I don't think anyone can disagree on any of the above. How we go about doing the last one is the contentious issue for folk

If we weren't passionate about the game we might as well wrap in too. I never hold grudges with anyone over an argument so no need to apologise. I'll apologise for the 'idiot' comment as no need for that. I'm sure we'll cross swords again in the future

HI i was just thinking we have lost 100 grand with the one loft not running. We are down to about a 1.000 copies of the homing world a week we have put the fee up £3 so that's about 30 grand extra what about the short fall of 70 grand. cheers jack

Jack a £6.50 rise in subs will cover the £70,000 shortfall, with £1,500 left over for the staff xmas party.

Income from the BHW bolstered the RPRA for years allowing Council to keep subs below what they should have been, now that has gone reality has struck home personally I thought that was not good management but I believe that at the time it was done with the best of intentions but Council advised by successive GMs should have seen the writing on the wall and taken steps to prepare for the changing situation
