My other hobby is metal detecting.
I'm on a few forums and have lots of ppl contact me when they find old pigeon rings - always try to find out the owners and let them have some details.
Don't get out in the summer too much because of the birds and the ground is too hard anyway.

How did you catch the animal Worm
I don’t understand these things like you and Anthony as you were from the sticks obviously in London these things didn’t happen as a kid
I grew up south east London but dad n g dad took me hunting since I can remember my dad's family all poachers mums family shooting was there sport so learned both ways ,,my lads could live of the land there 16,18 yrs old but been taught how to hunt proper my lad holding fish in picture he can fill a rucksack with meat just walking a lane with torch n catapult he very rarely misses a shot with a catapult its as if he's got a gun on him the amount he gets ,
Before my dad passed I could see by look in he's eye when he see he's gran sons hunt he was happy like another generation of he's family can carry on the way he was fetched up ,funny bond him and my sons had they were more mates than grandad n gransons the way they carried on together.
We don't hunt with guns we hunt with running dogs ,ferrets n catapult.
