Yes about 6/7 gms morning feed just light feed Neil, yes had all the usual treatment they look ok, done the thing that Anthony said about the head & shoulders, nothing highlighted & none with feathers around the ear none showing signs of that. Just something that has puzzled me for a while Neil, but thanks for your suggestions. I've sent off test's so will see if anything comes back from the vet's before my planned breeding end of this year.

Hi i have had this problem since i started with pigeons 1993 i have tried different things .But never seemed to get them to run i have fed heavy beans mix, light barley mix, nothing seems to work . I just train short a couple of miles to start off then move them on pretty quick .people say they must have raspatory problem i cant see anything wrong with them they hold there own most seasons locally cheers Jack

Only mine wouldn’t leave the loft even after I got hit and normal 2 taps with the garden cane and there off like a flash

who hasn't got problems with peregrine's Neil, but having said that the not ranging thing just seems to be every year.

My opinion jack baby's born Dec,Jan,Feb that Goe through a body moult just don't run properly mine might leave village for few mins and back but baby's born April may not darkened run for hours n hours pal .same parents just born different months same food same looking after ,

Hi i have bred young birds at all different times over the last 30 odd years. When i had a pub i had a loft over old stables i used to train my mates pigeons .I bred him 25 young birds so i let the youngens out has i loaded the van i saw them fly and join his only a couple of streets away. when i pulled up at his house i said were are the youngens he said mine have gone that way running and yours have gone home it just seems to be me i have lived at two different addresses on the same road and same results cheers jack

So I've haven't got any theory's about why this is continuing to be fair.
My only conclusion is whenever they are hatching be it Jan,Feb, March, or April it's been the same year on year, even natural ybs or darkness still the same.
It's something I've got used to & very frustrating at time's .

I like seeing baby's run but I had a team once would run n fly for 4 hours they were useless team had another team wouldn't fly more than 15 minutes this team was unreal 5 baby's in first 10 of fed 8 weeks running can't remember how many times they won fed but team was unreal only clocked 5 on t3 but many times there be 8 yb in stall trap n another 8 sat on there backs this team wouldn't fly I just started them 1 mile tosses then 5 miles all directions then on line trained 2x aday they must of had before racing n race nearly 100 tosses lol

Iv had baby's out to 1 mile single tossing before they batch the week I wean them I put the basket on landing board n tie bob wires up next day 1 at a time on board next day foot away from board with in a week of so there length of garden flying straight across on two board the rest are all ways in loft when trap training lads think I have them hungry but I don't they fly straight across garden on two pad n rush to be back in with the other baby's at this age there scared n just want to be in loft then I go across dyke in two farmers field my garden back on two fields so it's very simple each day further I take them normally there by next village being tossed before they batch up around home ,,I put alot of work in two baby's but previous years with my dad unwell I just done basics but since he passed iv done the baby's more how I use two and its much better I think ,but that first bad toss that we all get what they learn then we can't teach em ,one night I had whole team away Brian Hawes said best toss u ever have son I didn't want to hear this but after 3 days every baby worked in but this team done it again 3 weeks after totally messed up but come racing they won all 6 races i raced topping fed 3 times for me so I just think the more we teach them at young age the better there be in later life pal.
