Diamond Dave wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 11:19 am To the mods. Its not up to me but I dont think there is any need to deactivate anyones account over this. Emotions have taken over and I reckon a lot has been said that needed to be said!
We all know where the boundaries are and hopefully it might have done a bit to clear the air.
Well if a certain person's account doesn't get deactivated after that lot above at least we all know we can say what we want which would suit me right down to the ground.
Couldnt agree more Goose. We should all be ablr to say what we wanna say without being shut down - Isnt that the point of an open forum....
There are levels of abuse, offensiveness or vindictiveness (whatever you want to call it) that are acceptable to a degree in the written word and can be cons8dered as pathetic and there are also things that can easily be misconstrued but there are levels that are certainly not.
We all know where those boundaries are so ppl should be able to say what they wanna say without getting chopped.
My own thoughts are that most of us who have contributed to this thread have been abusive, offensive or vindictive in some way but the whole debarcle has just been in the "pathetic" category and its good that ppl have got stuff off their chest which needed to be said.
C'mon guys lighten up FFS.

And I don't blame you. Absolutely disgusting that the abuse aimed at you this morning has went unchecked and unchallenged. The double standards on this site makes my skin crawl to be honest.

That is so unnecessary BB. We have had our differences but I have only ever enjoyed our little exchanges.
I really am genuinely sorry that you have taken them so seriously.

I fully agree Anthony.

I can assure everyone though that there really isn’t any them and us. We welcome any members and are happy to have all our members. But for some reason some think that we are against the old members from Chat and they can’t wait to have ago at the members that have been on here for years, that isn’t the case and sorry if some feel that way. We just want a friendly happy site where people can have their say, air their views without it turning into something ridiculous. Every member have things to contribute to the site. Some with many years of experience.
The only members on here regularly that have been here for years are Myself, Devo and Murray. Devo from before my time, myself for 15 years and more recently Murray. To a lesser degree my brother Trev who doesn’t get on much at present.
We are all here because of our love for the sport.
Have a good day all, I’ve got work to do. 👍
"more recently Murray?"
I would be having a second think about that comment as well.
How long have I been on this forum? Since it's original format a long time ago.
I am very very grumpy just now.
I would strongly advise against trying to diminish me.
It will not end well
Again.
Murrey your in Australia were in uk ,,
It's daft the comment it won't end well is silly ,,
You ain't going to drive across Australia fly to uk have a straightener with the lad u have the problem with so it's pure daft ,,
My advise take it or leave it ,chill out don't take things so personal over pigeons, go down the garden enjoy the birds instead of being Internet warriors that is pure pointless it's getting you and the site no where ok.

[/quote] 😂 not sure you know he sounds like he’s up for it haha. On a serious note tho behave, adults on the internet arguing like school kids, always get people saying things they wouldn’t in person and hard to know if someone’s joking or not over a message but relax. I prefer forums over Facebook pages FB has ruined forums but these are turning into the same mis information, miserable moaners, and internet warriors as you get on them groups. Enjoy your birds I’m having to wait until April until I get mine and get started, now be good children 😂
