Your correct it should have been locked. An alleged fancier saying their happy for the pigeons they breed for someone to become soup is disgraceful. Well done for locking it hopefully the member who said such nonsense will be warned about what he posts online.

But of course we know it wasn't locked for that reason it was locked because one of the click won't like the very merited comments that a non member of the click aimed at him

Goose, it was locked because of what was said. The site should be run in a proper manner, Dont you agree.?

I absolutely agree the comments about pigeons being used for soup should be removed not just locking the topic. We know what kind of world we're living in now with the doo gooder brigade looking in. Ridiculous comments like that don't represent pigeon fanciers in this country

yes it does but murry wasn't called out and now his toys are out of pram and said hes having a break message him a beg him to come back or he realy will be upset

Nice he gets the chance to return when he's ready. Others had their accounts deleted for far less.

If you look at the locked topic you’ll see that it has been edited , however, the offensive comment regarding the total disregard for his birds welfare is still there but the response is not.

I love this site but have to admit it is becoming a bit 'sterile'.
Whats wrong with a bit of a 'tear-up' anyway. It makes for interesting reading.
Locking the thread just denied Murray the chance to reply, or any of us to chip in if we saw fit and if I know Murray- he wouldve enjoyed doing that anyway.
We are all adults and can speak up for ourselves.
The site is great for 'discussion' and 'debate' but what you mods dont seem to get is that a good 'arguement' is often as healthy as those two things.
May I suggest that you still allow some of these things to go on but just put a warning up on the actual thread.
Sometimes things are out of character, for whatever reason. If ppl dont reign it in then do your policeman bit.
There is no need to be so severe everytime someone makes a confrontational remark - we can all stand up for ourselves.
