you don't reply to many posts yourself i posted few photos but that;s it i;m finished with the site

I reply to alot of things not really interested in posting on weather n things like that but actual racing very interested in and getting involved,
Why you finishing with this site .

Unless I misunderstood it, the site only has 140 members and I would expect 90% to be merely “watchers” regular contributors are the usual suspects

Got to agree Ant.
I look in almost every day and am disappointed when nothing on the board has changed - sometimes for days on end!
So I go and look at the Facebook chat, then wish I hadnt!
I am not one for doing the weather everyday or the 'good morning' type of threads either, though the weather thread could be useful for some on raceday but then if you don't know where ppl are, thats a waste of time too.
Just need to get more ppl involved and have a good bit of banter or a bit of controversy to liven things up.
Don't think it will ever be like the old chat but even half way there would be so much better.

Think it’s just a sign of the times there aren’t enough interested any more, PC in its heyday was a different ball game but although JT kept folk in order, she didn’t bar people because they upset the more sensitive some of the arguments were volatile but they were accepted and people moved on that’s how I found it anyway

OMG - I completely forgot about JT !!! What a lovely lady. Utmost respect to her. I remember chipping in to get her something but can't remember what it was.
She had a lovely way of keeping everything and everyone in order. Firm but fair and didn't suffer fools.
I didn't get to meet her when everyone went to Blackpool and wore nametags with thier avatar name..
Think that was the start of the demise of the original chat - it was never the same after she passed.

To be fair Murray, I reckon there were more fall-outs on the old chat and loads more controvertial characters but that's what made it interesting.
