My stock n oap,s
Get 50 percent barley 50 percent what ever I fill like at that time ,red grit ,salt lick ,fresh water 2x a Yr 10 days verkon s in water ,,no canker or cocci or respo treatment ever given to them ,they live in open aviary with roof n breed in there as well they fill all weather's.
Racers are treatment similar but will get a respo treatment if racing 3 weeks on bounce east winds acriflavin is used for canker on food its yellow drops but a fraction of the price ,,and a treatment after the moult they receive as well.

I like the stock to be super strong and then I'm confident alot of the baby's will be as well but I still breed weak useless birds some times then if I get a super racer and I retire it at 4,5 yrs old it goes to stock ,a bird here at 4 or 5 is super tested n very very strong ,I normally get to retire top hens but not many cocks make it to that age it could be me because I prefer racing hens .

A top hen of mine 02 she won fed south as a yearling then as a 2yr old was 2nd fed 2800b against wind North then at 3 Yr old topped championship club flying west then at 4 Yr old had a season in stock loft at 5yr old this Yr was 2nd championship club north beat on decimal plus she has 6x1st in club iv not counted her other prizes but now I have retired her .
She's 6x1st 2x1st fed 2x2nd fed lots of top 10 fed honours flying 3 different routes .
