APHA audit request

Hi All

Has anyone received an audit request from APHA asking for copies of all paperwork for the last 3 years from the annual vet visits?

With the threat that your CPH number will be suspended if its not provided within 10 days.

I was asked to provide all details in March 24’. Given 10 days to supply all info.

We have it all, just never heard of the request before. Been in touch with the region who also say they've never heard of the request.

Just want to be sure it's on the level.

Likely "random" checking. Seems a bit officous but In some ways its good to see it being done.

Now that we have to register our birds which is relatively simple because of their life rings, can anyone tell me how commercial poultry breeders manage to record every bird in their flocks?
Although I don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories I must admit that I’m with Murray on this one, I fear it’s Newcastle disease all over again but worse.
