To be honest mate. eversince i started with pigeons i just always been fascinated about other colors then blue and check. Around the time i started my dad bought a Son from Ares an absolute top racer in germany wining 2x1 against 10k ~ pigeons and was superstar candidate in dortmund 2010 and it was just a stunning bird his whole appearance specially his color. ever since then i set out to try to have the best grizzle bloodlines in my loft. dont get me wrong i still have alot of blues and checks etc aswell and if a pigeon is appealing to me i get it regardless of its color. But my main objective and goal that i set out of to try to have the best grizzle bloodlines that i can get my hands on in my loft. so far this has been working very well for me and for the 3rd year in a row out of id say a 50/50 selection of blues/checks and grizzles. 3x a grizzle was the best performer in my loft.

I still think you're mad to offload his progeny into your competitors loft - but I understand why your reasons for doing so
It was just a general idea in my mind. Nothing certain yet on if i will actually do it or not. For now He will have a few days to get adjusted to here and get to proper form again since hes a bit slim due to the transport and then i will breed 2-4 youngsters for myself to race. After that ill breed some for sale to compensate for the price and after all that is covered i might think about it or might not.

How long was he is transport Leon for the weight loss ?
Well that is something that im not quiet sure of because it was very complicated and had alot of issues involved but atleast 1 day it might have been 2 days. Hes not falling of the skin but he could definitely use some more weight
