This will be the last pigeon for the upcomming season that will be brought into our loft i just acquired it about 1 hour ago and for me its something very special to own a Original Gebr. Leideman of this caliber i think i really made a "Bargain" ( Always matter of opinion anyways) but i heard that direct children from connor usually go for about 7.5-10k € which i have not even paid 1/3 from. I have brought in way more pigeons in the recent weeks but unfortunately i have been sortof inactive due to alot of work and health issues. In a few days ill start sharing some of the other new birds.

I partially agree with this but atleast over here if you got original gebr leideman birds people are still very interested specially when you got direct children from their superstars.
But the decline also made people sell off their birds for cheap and i think i gotten a great steal on a few of them over the past weeks because people just tried to get rid of them for example we bought 2 children from a halfbrother of goed grijs from Eddy den haese for 650€ each. 2 weeks later i see full brothers / sisters sell for 2500€ in an auction house

I just pick performance of parents g/parents they don’t have to be fashion
Anthony Webster use to always say you need 6 good winners on the left side of the pedigree I honestly think he was right
Not brothers or sisters of winners to buy from
I have a cock 3 times first 2500 birds he has bred me 5 federation winners yet every 6 he breeds 5 are crap it’s easy to put these to stock and sell ybs from them rather than the bin if I was a fancier who was interested in money
I think you can find good pigeons for your loft without going with fashion

Would you really buy the cock in the photo without the name just on looks ?
The pigeon has great results all over the pedigree the father is a regional ace bird and the mother is the nest sister to a grand prix winner and also has good racing results. But I have a good mixture of birds in our loft with super racing results themself. Or pigeons with super racing results and breeding results in their pedigree. And i might upset some people with this but I do also see pigeons as an investment which i think based of some of our purchases is kinda obvious. Of course the racing part and the bond to the animals etc is more important to me then the business aspect but its not something to overlook for me.

Mike stick the performance of Elvis on here if you can
Leon can see what I’m saying and what £150 can get you if your not into fashion
As i said before. I have a mixture of pigeons with great pedigrees but also have alot of pigeons with super results themself or direct children from super racers from our section which cost me less then 50€.

Mike would that be from Marks Red Bull family, I know you mentioned Gaby in it's breeding.
Thought that was a mixture of SVR, Sootjens not sure if I've spelt that right & another line i can't remember? all mixed to make this line. You'll correct me if I'm barking up the wrong tree.
