Isn’t there a fee to transfer the rings that’s higher than a normal transfer if you want to race them or another person race them in a race under Rpra rules
I’m sure that came in as loads in London use to buy them but stopped 4 or 5 years ago

I was a dual member RPRA/NWHU for many years. I resigned from the RPRA just before the price increase. I saw no point in paying £35 when the NWHU was only £5. Your right there is a fee/TAX to race under RPRA rules, but since I give most of my YBs away, the 30p fee is a small price to pay for getting a bird for free.

Another way of looking at it is RPRA rings cost are around 27p so using a cheaper NWHU ring takes 7p off the RPRA fee/TAX, so fee is now only 23p.

How much is a Nwhu ring plus the transfer fee ?

NWHU ring is 20p now (was 15p) and fee is 30p, so 50p Neil.

Transfer either 30p or as Stephen says 20p makes it 40p or 50p a ring to race it in a Rpra race , so for a racing loft in the Rpra area it’s not worth it

That's true but if your only racing one loft races or giving them to friends to race it's way cheaper being a NWHU member and using their rings. And see my post above if you are an individual RPRA member like George is

This year was an increase to £18 for none flying members in the RPRA, disgusting rise in my opinion, that is why I never renewed my membership

you were liable for this year's subs before the levy so you be a defaulter to the rpra can you join nwhu owing money

should you not have paid initial fee before the levy was introduced that ment by refusing to pay the levy extra it stated in all the correspondence flying about you would become a defaulter did you pay original fee ?? if you did but refused the levy are you able to join nwhu owing money to rpra not a go at you just a general question

Never paid anything mate, never renewed my membership at all
