You know me I try my best to learn and improve to the best of my ability
or should I say limited ability
getting a few good birds makes it a lot easier , it’s finding them that’s hard for me
Hi Neil if that was a reference to my comments about not all being lost to hawks and falcons then that is totally opposite to what you are saying in your response to TrevNeilA wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2024 9:47 amHi TrevTrev wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2024 9:03 am Great result again Neil, makes all the effort with while, well done mate
Well done to you too Mike, a great hen by the sounds of it, you don't often find many like that, is that all with the same Sire Neil ?? Hopefully the new Cock will be just as good.
Number 28 is a fine looking bird too .
She’s bred most winners with a FVW x soontjen cock picked for me by Shane Langton
His sire is the Bat 7 fed wins in Derbyshire area for Dave waddington he was missing eggs a little so she went with a hereman cock this year
She’s bred with 3 cocks
My pal had 1 last year that was 1st section London combine the only bird in the first 45 open in his section I think about 33rd open he was
Unfortunately 28 was lost at a 83 miles race this year 2 weeks before his brother also a fed winner was lost from 110 miles but I get told it’s not peregrine by certain site members so I say nothing but know myself as Mike says it’s not often healthy experienced winners get lost at them distances unless it’s a accident or bop

Lik I said in post, when you said about losing birds to hawks and falcons I made the comment not all are lost to them and there is could be other reasons for losses, certainly never said about sick birds being sent or anything like that, so that was someone else, as I say my only comment was as already statedNeilA wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2024 12:06 pm Buster I don’t really understand your post to be honest
Happy to try to have it explained to me
Did you say birds are sent unhealthy and more are lost that way or was it someone else
Can’t remember and can’t be arsed to check as it’s not worth my time to look for something that I know is wrong I don’t even know if it was you it could be one of kings classic lines god knows

Neil I did post on the topic in question at the time like I said above, the only reason I said anything further was because you brought it up again about ''comments made by others''NeilA wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2024 12:47 pm Good for you Buster and your welcome to your opinion
Maybe stick the views on another post where someone didn’t have 4 fed winners and 8 birds return injured in 6 weeks or even try starting a new post on the subject
But it is what it is
