I am guessing he may have better birds but more likely, he would be putting more into it than what you are, training harder, feeding keener etc.o what are you going to do about it - that depends on your own motivation. Are you yourself competetive enough to want to do something about it.
Then ultimately, I guess it comes down to how much money and how much time you have to throw at it.

Better all round pigeon man , the answer to compete with him look at what your doing and try changes feeding lighter , look at birds health and if nothing improves look for better birds than you have now they are probably not good enough
