I had 4 youngsters delivered by Walkers today from Trev. They arrived at around 9.30 this morning. I was at marking for this weeks CSCFC Guernsey race. Roxanna took delivery of them and put them in the loft. I didn’t get a chance to look at them until this evening. They look very nice although I haven’t handled them yet.
These are a couple of photos.
Trev’s are the 2 blues on the floor and the 2 chequers in the bottom box perches.
The red grizzle & grizzle are 2 of mine that I weaned yesterday and the chequer on the floor is one I weaned a few days ago.
Here are some more of the youngsters.
Buster’s youngsters are now coming out of the loft and have a flit around. The pale blue went off for a good fly yesterday Buster. It was their first time out of the loft but she came back in fine.
Youngsters from Trev
Lovely birds Trev, love the grizzles Andy, I am pleased they coming out and flying around, I did recognise some of them in the pics but not all
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

To be quite honest Steve I haven’t handled them properly yet since they came. I haven’t transferred it yet. I will need your loft number. I already have your email address. I will make sure I do it. They are all coming out and having a bit of a fly around. They have been flying up to the house roof and back down as well as doing a few circles around the garden. They are looking very nice.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
Just had a look Steve. That is a lovely youngster. Probably a cock. He is one that is flying around. Handled them all from you. All handle well. I have got the ring number C75342. I will transfer it shortly. In the fifth photo he is the one laying down top left.

He is the one that stood out in pics that I recognised the best, all I can tell you he is the first youngster bred off a first time pair in all honesty I have not had a good breeding season eggs not hatching or being laid but in all fairness to the birds they are old some have stopped laying and this year I have had loads of small eggs, so looks like they are finishing as well now, but that is what happens all part of there life, the parents to that one are 2013 birds which as I said there very first nestAndy wrote: ↑Fri May 06, 2022 7:02 pm Just had a look Steve.
