Cheers both.
Murray, yeah that's something I'll definitely be trying. I've not actually started moving them over yet, but I'll have a play with it before the move and see how they react to the new spot.
Devo, I've honestly not really looked into unconventional loft styles at all. I've just been ...

Re: Loft/House Update
That's great news Matt - so will you be taking your old set up with you after all.....?
No, unfortunately I won't be taking old shed with me, it'll be coming down and either put in storage or sold!
So the old setup is a 12'x6' shed that will be too large and impose too much in the garden, so ...

Loft/House Update
Hey all,
So figured I give a bit of an update.
We have been accepted by the landlord at the new house, and they have said we can have the birds!
Great news all round!!
The next step will be getting the loft setup, and breaking the birds!
We are only moving a couple of roads over, so only ...

Re: Bowbroom
Oh dear that's a shame. We didnt see eye to eye on matters concerning the rpra but I did enjoy a bit of banter with him.
Thanks Matt, I think I would like to have his email if you would be kind enough to pm it.
I did send you a message last night at his request, but doesn't seem to have gone ...
Re: Bowbroom
BowBroom,
Like I say I don't know if its deliberate, or anything, just passing it on.
Re: Bowbroom
I had an email from him tonight to say his account had been deactivated
Obviously I have no idea what has gone on, but I will pass on his contact to those who want it!

Re: A New Setup
if your handy it would be cheaper to buy the timber and build your own would be half the price fellas
It comes down to price and space available really!
The price needs to be low unfortunately, as when throwing in a house move, deposit and stupidly high rental markets, funds are going to be ...

Re: A New Setup
These sheds won't be cheap. I'd buy the timber and build my own. As others have already said a pent roof, with a overhang of 1ft ALL the way round. Then have 6" to 8" of mesh at the top of EVERY side. The overhang will stop rain from coming in but FRESH AIR will be abundant.
You would have to ...

A New Setup
So with everything going wrong that could possibly go wrong, it's looking like I will be getting rid of my current setup (12*6) and replacing it with two 8*6 lofts.
I am looking at these sheds as that's about where my budget falls!
What would you guys recommend, in terms of modifications, in ...
