Went to the marking today

What a great place the new station at Takeley
Rolls and teas very cheap
Loads of parking unlike Cambridge
Met my cockney friends joined the London club that nom from the Nrcc
Had a chat with Terry Haley

Really nice people in charge
Spent about half hour there ...

Flew a good race today but couldn't beat Alan maile he's flying great ,,I'm proud of my team being long flyer on nose wind ,,today I will be

What a terrible race we had yesterday. Sent 12 first one a good 12 minutes off the best and still wasn’t last took 45mins to get 5 then nothing till 4pm (6:30 lib 165 miles) 4 more worked in during the evening 1 at 5am this morning. Pigeons have a wonderful habit of bringing us down to earth ...

First nightmare of the season

Always interesting data, and I think it blows a lot of the old myths out of the water. Around here fanciers say pigeons won’t cross the wash, a few years ago a fanciers put a tracker on a young bird, first race straight across the wash :lol:
