What a great place the new station at Takeley
Rolls and teas very cheap
Loads of parking unlike Cambridge
Met my cockney friends joined the London club that nom from the Nrcc
Had a chat with Terry Haley

Really nice people in charge
Spent about half hour there chatting to Trev wilson after the feeder lorry left that I have known since I was a boy

Everything run perfect
Glad it went well. The birds have arrived safely in Arbroath.

Well done Neil looks like you’re well up in your section. Mediocre here for me somewhere in the middle of the pack. How were your returns?

My pal Steve Surrey been flying great yesterday he had 3 in few mins but last night about 5,30 when he called he still had 50 percent home so was definitely a test in the heat and very little wind all day

Returns wise it was a really strange day. Some top flyers around here on 50% lots with 1/3 - 25% out some with 100% I’m in the lucky bracket there although my favourite came back with all his secondary’s out. Neil you done really well done there it was definitely a more testing day.

It amazes me how resilient pigeons are, they get hit like this, make it home to be patched up. Glad you've got him back Anthony & fair play to you for trying to sort him out.
