Look very nice Stu. 2 of my first pigeons back in 1980 were Cattrysee, a Blue and a Blue Chequer, both cocks. Came from George Loft Trev.

Yes Andy, I know Dad had a few Cattrysse from George too, did they come from Stan Guppy or were they another strain ??? The Cattrysse crossed well with Busschearts. My first Thurso winner was a Cattrysse x Busscheart given to me by Dad. I paired her Dads old 98 Blue pied Cattrysse who had won Stonehaven (431miles) for Dad and they bred me some of my early distance pigeons including my second Thurso winner and my Banff winner.

They all look very similar in shape and stature, has the fancier who borrowed them got many out of them ???
I love the length from beak to tail and the more stream line look, alot of the modern pigeons are shorter and stockier which is fine until the going gets tough. JMO πŸ‘πŸ˜€

I think they were down from Stan Guppy Trev. My Lerwick, 650ml, winner had a bit of the Cattrysee in her. Down from my old No20 who won several cards in sprint races and flew Thurso 550mls.
