Missed last weeks report Steve so just caught up :D
A couple of great reports again and some more outstanding performances by the Kulpa family, I hope you got a few more home from Fougeres.
We are at Kingsdown tomorrow too and looking at the forecast I can't see them going too early so you should get home in time :D
All the best mate, hope it's another successful weekend for you.

Well last weeks racing didn't go to plan ,The first race was the NFC Cholet we had 12 hens in it and didn't fair very well with the winner 15miles south of us and our club mate Roger Lowe finishing 4th and 5th, to be 40mins behind him was disappointing also they were very gappy with our all pooler turning up after I'd gone to the club ,By close of play Saturday we had 8/12 with one more on sunday some of them that came had clearly hit some rain as there were a lot of showers about. Well done to Roger as his main aim is the National races.
Onto the inland races ,Here we done something I don't think we have ever done before, As I was working to make it easier for Paul we sent all the hens to Caversham with the BB&O and the cocks to Shinfield with the Berkshire Fed. As it happened with the rain about on Saturday morning I was home in time as they weren't liberated until lunch time. In the BB&O with the forecast we didn't think we would stand much hope of doing well as when the wind is in the south the Fed winners are Normal, in the Oxford side of the fed this proved to be the case we also could only manage to get 3rd 5th 6th and 7th club but we did get 32/33 with only a yearling hen missing. In Shinfield we had 36/36 but when the wind is southerly we stand a good chance in the Fed if the birds are on form ,Bang on time we had a group of 5 and a group of 6 from two different directions some came straight down and the rest chased each other about in the air until they got together and came in as you can see from the result , the first bird you will notice is the fantastic 193 now recording his 9th x 1st clubs and his 5th x 1st Fed's and he was beaten last week by 4 loft mates. He's got two weeks to become our all time Prize winner who was 50 who had 10 x 1st clubs and 5 x 1st Fed's and an open race. I We think he would have earned him retirement .
Well this week we have Messac with the BB&O and Kingsdown with the Berks, with little or no wind forecast 193 will love it if he can beat the Lambrects also we'll have to watch out for a yearling light ch hen ( I don't know the number but Paul does, she's our nom bird ;) ) All the best if your racing this week .Steve
