Ill pigeon

Need any help or advice post it here.

Hi all.im new to forumlive in north east england and rescue birds including pigeons..One of oir ex racing pigrons has fallen ill can any one help...symptoms are as follows.....lost ability to fly........falls over when walking fast........watery green poo....losing weight....

She eats ok...is alone in oir bird hospital on heat mat...been ill for weeks now.......treated for canker and put acv in water..nothing is workinh....
She hasnt flown outdoors for over a yeard but used to fly ok in poheon avairy....any ideas pleade

Hi Safzola and welcome to the site. Without getting the droppings analysed its anyone's guess mate. There are plenty of products on the market you could try but without knowing exactly what you are dealing with its a gamble. I personally have found Gem Strike 2 & Gemthepax to be very effective when my birds have been off colour. Sorry I can't be more help, hope you get to the bottom of it and the bird is well again soon. How old is the pigeon ???

Thanks for advice,,,,coming up to 3 year old I think,she's a lovely big bird just hate seeing her like this,I would take her to vets but all they are bothered about is money,,,,,,,,,

Thank you..our local vet is having a look later and i will give him a poo sample as suggested...great site this by the way....we have 11 pigeons so its good to know i have somewhere to ask questions
