Thanks for all you're comments fellas, much appreciated. Will have to have a closer inspection of the bird and try some other treatment as clearly the treatment I used hasn't worked on this bird.

Maybe it never drank as much as others, or maybe it is another 4in1 that doesn't work properly, that is why I like to use seperates

I used 4/1 spot on for the youngsters and 4/1 tablets on the old birds. I have to say Buster I think I would agree with you, it's the first time I have used 4/1 treatments and although the birds do appear to be clean and healthy I can't say I'm impressed and will probably go back to using individual treatments when needed.

Yes George there is small seed in the mixes (especially in the conditioning mix which they get twice a week) they also get peanuts and sunflower hearts as a trapping treat. All these modern mixes are a mine field for me, this year I am trying Gem Supreme and Gem Concorde mix.

few years back fed my birds some conditioner for chickens just before the online shows started and had 3 birds drop of the perch dead they were not sick before this happen but did feel fat I also had a friend feed too much seed he told his friend to do the same this was may time all the birds in both lofts broke into a full moult and could not race them for that season i'm not certain but think I was told to feel the keel for a small lump
