How far do they go? I know you have said about the NFC or MNFC. Both would give you good long distances, but don’t try to do to many different things to so. All distances will need different approaches and management.
Andy i think the mnfc would be good, i could get some rings off them for future racing. I am going to work on this plan for this year, but i could use the mnfc rings on my youngsters for future racing.

Is there special prizes for MNFC rings them Devo. The NFC and the CSCFC both have gold rings at £5 per ring for prize money in the young bird national. I haven’t bought any this year as I know nothing about my breeders yet. The BICC have a £25 prize for the first youngsters clocked in each section, in both young bird races, that have BICC rings. I have ordered 40 rings from them.

I am not sure Andy, its just cheaper to race the birds if they have a mnfc ring on them. I think if they have rpra rings on, its about £5.00 to send a bird.

I know the BICC were talking about charging an extra £1 per pigeon for young birds not having a BICC ring on, but it was not agreed on.

The nearest nfc marking station is about 26 miles from me, i would need to look at their race points.

£5 a bird extra, that’s ridiculous. That is no insensitive to get new members, is that for all races Buster or just young birds.

This is for national racing isaacs. Most of the BICC races are £3.50 per bird, young birds £3 and the NFC £4 per bird, £6.50 for Tarbes. National racing isn’t cheap but yes there is prize money and pools.
What we are discussing is racing in the MNFC, where there is a £5 surcharge for youngsters not wearing MNFC rings.
