Youngsters very mature

When you breed these mate,I had some really early ones last year and they was crackers

Funny how the “early” bred youngsters seem to mature quicker than latebreds. Whether that is because, even with your early ones hatching on the 11th December, by the time they were weaned the days are already starting to get longer. Where as latebreds hatched late summer have the shortening of days first. Just a thought.
