The last couple of days have been a bit, stressful isn't the word, conscious of the reality.

Apparently an area the size of the UK has been burnt. Over 1000 homes have been destroyed.

Lives have been lost. πŸ˜₯

There were fires a mile away from our home over the weekend.

Living in Oz. Beautiful one day, bloody scary the next! πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

Regards

Murray.

We are in a little cocoon in the middle of Victoria. The fires have not hit us, yet.

But on Black Saturday in 2009, Bendigo felt the full force of bush fires.

The warmists don't like facts if they don't mesh with their agenda. The fact remains, the fires of February 2009 were the worst in Victoria.

Regards

Murray.

I'm afraid they all have short or selective memories 😡😡

The whole thing is so unbelievably awful, you have to be here to get it.

Then, just to make it worse, if that is possible, the climate change hippys have hijacked it.

We have terribly bad bush fires and hateful greens, all at once.

Not good.

Regards

Murray.

Been a bit tense this afternoon.

Fire two and a half miles away from us.

30 fire engines and crews attended, which is a lot. They were determined to stop it getting into the national park, which is over behind us.

The wind was blowing against the fire which helped, but we were getting our emergency kit out and getting ready to leave.

There was brief 'discussion' about taking my best pair of pigeons with us. πŸ˜€

If the fire comes through, we will put the pigeons out. And lock them out. Seems harsh, but if the loft goes up....

Regards

Murray.

Very scary and unsettling times for you mate, hope it doesn't come to that but as you say at least the birds will have half a chance outside the loft. Thinking of you all, stay safe and don't take any chances mate.
