They were a good and popular family back in the day Stu, don't here much about them these days. I did have some once that did well up to around 400miles, hope your mate finds one fella.

I have a pair of Jim Smith Wildemeesch from Louella pigeon world, I got them from a friend I'm preparing them for breeding to test their babies

Hopefully they will turn to be good

Welcome to the site and good luck with them, as I said earlier they were a popular breed back in the day.
They were quite a big bird and performed well up to around 400miles if I remember rightly. I'm sure they will do a sound job for you mate.
