You only need something simple. Mine is hinged and can be shut up to close the trap.

What are the measurements for that please

Looks like you have had plenty of good advice here mate so not much I can add, just keep asking questions and we will help where we can.
The drop board really wants to be the same size as your trap so it can shut it completely for security, the lino sounds like a good idea for weather proofing 👍
Exciting and nerve wracking times for you mate, all the best.

Yes indeed.

Very well kept loft and pigeons.

A real credit to you George. 😀

Murray.

heres mine, at the minute it covered by a cage to keep the birds in. size is just over a foot wide and like andys hinged so i can close it off, it has bob wires fitted too.

Is it just held on by screws to the shed or have you got other supports for it

I'm thinking of getting a sliding window but dont know what the parts where the window sits is called. So if anyone knows that would help and be a lot easier for me

just been out and took some better pics, its just 18mm ply screwed onto two hinges, the support bracket is off an old pine shelf we had.

Nice little set up.

That's a good home for your birds.

They look well.

Regards

Murray.
