In the racing pigeon world, the only thing i would say for all. The health of your birds are paramount, in a 365 day sport this is the golden rule. Now besides that everything else is a choice by you, the owner of the birds. Taking into account Feeding, Breeding, Training Racing, Medication and all other tasks of the sport. There are no hard and set rules, each will have their own system that suits them and their birds.

Too true Devo. As long as you get out of the sport what you want to it doesn’t matter how.
