While i was in Germany on a loft visit, i handled a nice hen. I was then told by her owner she was 9 years old and still racing, she will race this season and he hopes for her to win combine. She holds 67 prizes, is there any members that have a hen this age and is still racing?

Are we talking about a sprint/middle distance pigeon here or a distance pigeon ?
Middle distance Mike, a very nice hen.
Phew!
I'm sure she's a classy hen to be as game as she is - but I was gonna say if she's a sprinter and she's turning over yearlings and 2 year old's then there's something amiss somewhere!
I've known a couple of fanciers in the past race birds this age. A local fancier won from 400 miles many years ago with a hen aged 9. I myself clocked a 9 year old hen from Sartilly on the day 360 miles, that had raced for 3 different fanciers before I got her! This hen had been 2nd club for the second owner at Poitiers 514 miles (I was 3rd & 5th in the same race only 7 in race time)
This hen at 9 bred me a YB that was 1st York clock station (only 2 in race time, I had both) 11th NE 700 Mile Club, 21st sec K from Guernsey 316 miles.

Thank you for the feedback, its good to know there are other hens still racing at this age. Well done to all in the partnership.
