Same to you Andy our 1st race tomorrow bad start though. Let them out yesterday afternoon 2 year old cock missing either hit wire or hawk meat. ATB.

That's a shame mate, sorry to hear that, as you say it is sadly a sign of the times. I've lost a few decent birds this winter too :( :(

Good luck all, I hope it's a successful weekend.
We've got our first race tomorrow too, I wasn't going to send as I've a been away all week but I did find 12 that felt and looked pretty good.

Our club Glastonbury have sent 296 birds to our first race. I’ve sent my team of 11 widowhood cocks. Sounds like some have been hit hard by bops during training.

We had 9 members send 169 birds.
It's the same here Andy, loses have been bad around their lofts and from training.
