Trev has asked for me to apologise for not being on the site for the last few days. Following his cataract surgery last Friday he is struggling to look at things for long as it makes him feel sick. We did see he briefly on Sunday as we went to see mum and he popped in. He was ok but still a bit sore in and around the eye. He saw his consultant again today who was happy with it and although still foggy his sight in that eye is better. He has been put on a third eye drop as the pressure in the eye is a bit on the high side. He has got to go back again on Thursday. All should be fine but just going to take a bit of time.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

I hope he recovers soon, and all is well for him. All the best Trev.

Thanks all for your kind thoughts and wishes.
As Andy says, there were a few complications with my cataract surgery which as a result has been giving me some problems. I had an injury to that eye about 30 years ago which had left some scaring which they only discovered when they took the old lens out, they also found that the vitreous sack which they use to hold the new lens in place was ruptured, because of this they had to use a different type of lens which made the procedure a but more complicated.
I saw the optometrist again this morning, all seems to be finally settling down. The oedema on the cornea has now gone and the pressure in the eye has come down, he wants to see me again next week to make sure the pressure hasn't gone up again now I'm off the tablets. The eye is still blurry and gets uncomfortable if I spend too long on my phone or tablet so it might take me a couple of days to catch up 👍🤠
All the best
