Littlehampton RPC 2023 Prize presentation.

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

On the 3rd of March we had our Club dinner and prize presentation, finding venues for these events isn't easy anymore as most venues want too many numbers to warrant the catering. After visiting several pubs etc our club treasurer went to a local village pub where the local 5 bird club had previously held their event. For us to be able to an area to ourselves we needed at least 20 people, a few days before the booking we were struggling at just a dozen so it looked we were possibly going to have to cancel. However thankfully after a final push we managed to get to 21 and with me inviting our good friend and former Worthing pigeon club member, Brian and his wife Shiela we were up to 23. A nice evening was therefore held at the Frankland Arms in Washington (not DC πŸ˜πŸ‘), the food and service was fantastic and the company and socialising was great too.
Here are a few pics of the evening.

Winning the young bird averages is a bit misleading as several of the top fliers didn't send every week, but I'll take it anyway because I did πŸ‘πŸ€
I'm looking forward to hopefully adding to this tally next season πŸ™πŸ€ž

Well done Trev. Some nice pics there.
Our old club mate from Worthing, Brian, is who my main loft came from when he decided to give the pigeons up.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Perth and Hexham were our two longest races and were with the combine, so I was very pleased with those results.
Hexham is 295 miles, my bird was also 19th fed, didn't make the combine result.
Perth is 405 miles my birds were also 5th Fed 25th Combine and 14th Fed 52nd Combine.
