Well the operation went well, I went down just before 4, in recovery by half 5 and back in my room by 6. Had a nice ploughmans sandwich and coffee and was let go home about half 8. Didn't sleep great and am a bit sore this morning but it's much more comfortable than the hernia was πŸ‘
I can't do any heavy lifting for 4 weeks, can't drive for a week to 10 days but have to walk as much as I can. Bending is fine too as long as its comfortable and I don't strain so I will be able to feed the birds πŸ‘ just no cleaning out for a couple of weeks which is fine, I did give the birds enough food and water for today and tomorrow before I went in yesterday so I won't go in the loft until the weekend πŸ‘
I've got plenty to keep me occupied so won't get bored 😁
All the best

They can't wait to get you out these days mate, even when you pay for it lol 🀣
My Daughter has had two 'C' sections and they sent her home next day after both, even with a new baby to feed and the second time a 3 year old to look after too 😬

Good to hear it went well, Trev. After a week or two of just pottering around with the pigeons they will be so tame they will be all over you!
