Hello sports friends,

Moritz is 15 years old, a student and has been a pigeon fancier with heart and soul for two years. Since then he has also been a member of the 03252 “Heimatliebe” Volkers association. Starting with the keeping in the chicken coop, through the association's rental pigeon loft to the current 6m pigeon loft with 70 pigeons, he has received the greatest possible help from all sides. This year he took part in the old and young trip of the RV Schlüchtern/Sinntal for the first time and even won first place in the 3rd young flight. Despite the support from the club and his family, Moritz has reached his financial limits . Food, supplements and travel costs have a cushion created by the club and are quickly used up. For this reason, with this auction of vouchers from successful breeders, we want to create a foundation that will enable Moritz to continue pursuing his beloved sport in the years to come.

I don’t understand how that’s working mate. What are the vouchers?
Our club brought our youngest flyer, a 16 year old, a complete ETS system. He has received some good pigeons from fellow club members.

The voucher is a contract that the breeder will breed a youngster, for the highest bidder of the youngster he or she is breeding. A good way of making money. for the young lad.

So am I right in thinking that it is basically a young bird auction where the money made is given to the youngster?

Yes Andy, if all the young bird vouchers sell for a total at the end of the auction. For 5000 euros, that will go to the young lad.

Hope it makes plenty for him think it should be given in bits though rather than one lump sum that way if he stops racing then they will have some left to help somebody else
