A yearly budget cost.

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

So this is just a look at the cost for a racing and breeding loft, Based on a loft with 60 birds. How much would you say the yearly cost is to run, also adding racing fees and training cost. An example of 60 birds feeding on 1 and a half ounces fed daily. Dont forget when youngsters come along.

So George you are looking at £16.60 monthly on feeding your birds yearly. Does that include grit and extras like cress. or apple cider for the water? Are you paying RPRA membership, and the cost of rings for youngsters.

Well mate it looks like you are running around £460 on cost including birds cost brought in. So not too bad, your running costs are around £38.30 per month which is around £8.80 per week.

I know what you mean George, it's all about what is best for yourself and the birds. Just enjoy what you have, then you can keep it simple. Coming into the winter months, you can do your daily tasks with the birds. Then get back into your home and stay warm mate.

Thanks Buster, your yearly cost for racing and breeding are around £2800,00 per year. I am not sure how many birds you have. But that comes out at £ 233 30 per month and £53 84 per week. It will be good to see other members costs.
