But once settled to the loft losses should be minimal. Also I know some people have bad trainers but most birds return in the end. Losses in training of OLR from short distances is horrendous. I didn’t lose one youngster in training. Then when it comes to racing still losses are for me unacceptable. Yes I lost youngsters racing, nearly half over 8 races, but these were in races where birds are racing to many different lofts over a large area and drag plays a big part. With OLR all birds are gluing to the same loft, usually with no other races from other organisations, so no drag or clashing.
