had not bred off this hen yet but decided to this year but she refused to use a nest box or the floor but a perch

I’m not overly keen on the eye of the cock but the hen has a cracking eye. Hopefully they will go well together.

Looking good George 👍😀 they are funny creatures and know what they want, I have several that refuse to take a nest box too. I hope they breed well for you mate.

this is the hen with a damaged wing had to make her a nest on top perch she now hops up to it

I have some in the race section that have chosen places other than nest boxes to nest lol.

I have spare nest boxes but a couple of cocks are trying to take 2 boxes and rather than upset things by forcing pairs to have nest boxes I am happy to let them nest where they want too.
