I’m sure it didn’t help by the pigeons both showing and those in the auctions having to be kept well away from the main halls because of the bird flu restrictions.

Whilst I agree in part the traders knew folks would still be there so should have still been there their loss when everyone needs money

Yes I agree Murray. Things pigeon related are much harder to get hold of nowadays. So I am surprised that those selling stuff don’t take the opportunity to sell it. When I bought the shop 19 years ago I could get most pigeon related products through my wholesalers. Now most don’t do anything at all.

I see the top bird sold went for £65,000 on Friday evening. I watched the utube clip of the auction. Couldn’t believe how slow and drawn out it was. Most of the people in the room weren’t interested in the sale. I wouldn’t be interested in sales like that. I would get bored and walk out. Have been to many sales of dairy cattle, if you blink your miss them lol.

I saw the £42000 one too, son of Murphy's Law who ever he is lol 🙃😂🤣
I agree it was very slow but the auctioneer did say he would keep it slow to give possible bidders time to consider their next move !!!
Some people do have more money than sense but then again maybe thats why I don't have any money lol 🤣😂🤣
