This is the third (and final) attempt to post this.

I put the new Sputnik on the loft for a trial last weekend.

The birds like it.

Next weekend i will put on as a fixture.

It's just sitting on the drop board, but I will take the board away, and frame up two new entrances into the loft from the sputnik.

I am quite pleased with how that turned out.

Great Job Muzza, well done you 👏👏👍 you should go into production, you don't seem to be able to get hold of sputniks for love nor money at the moment 🤠👍

Might cost a bit to ship to England.

It's pretty heavy. :D

I fitted the sputnik on the loft yesterday. It looks good and the birds like it. It is full of babies!

The birds are responding well to trapping through it, and I am increasing the amount of feed I can give them without them messing about. I handled half a dozen earlier, they feel fantastic, and are all pink and shiny in the flesh on the breast.

It's been a bit of work to get it right, but I am well pleased with it.

I am going to prune the apricot tree today. Having had such a fantastic growing season, warm but not too hot, plenty of rain, it has almost grown into the loft!

Last year we half murdered it, pruned it right back to the trunk almost, and now look at it :o

I will get the loppers and start cutting it back.

There's a lot of wood on that tree. I might take a couple of days.
