Birds 1st time out

Hi All,
Well I bit the bullet an let the birds out for the 1st time today.
Fitted a landing board to the loft, as the come out to the aviary, which I have now removed so they have a clear view of everything.
They where all a bit nervy at first but then two flew to the loft roof, a couple went back in the loft, don't forget I only have 9 birds at the moment.
2 have made it to the house roof while most stayed on the landing board. I then called the few off the landing board into the loft with some corn and a whistle which was great to see they came in just gave them a tiny bit on the floor.
The 2 on the roof now look like they have gone exploring just hope they return

Don’t worry about them Tony. You have done all you can for them. I’m sure they will return safe and well even if not until tomorrow. They would have learnt a lot.

Well done Tony, they will soon get into going up and down to the roof. Some may take a little venture, and make their way back. Keep it going mate.

well I have 8 out of the 9 birds in so the last one will be having a night out hope it's back tomorrow

Fingers crossed for it's return mate, but you over the biggest hurdle with the majority now mate well done

Thanks fella's yes I will do the same tomorrow and see how the go hopefully a little bit better than today
