Just seen on the South Sheilds Fed facebook page that Ali Bros are packing in pigeons in it’s entirety with immediate affect, An entire clearance nothing held back will be held at the end of the year, a sad day when fanciers of this calibre are leaving the sport

They've had 2 hammerings the last 2 weeks old birds at the channel and first young bird race Monday think they've less than 30 home from 80 odd. Sport has about 5 years left.

I follow them on YouTube they had a really bad race at the weekend and Richie did say on there that him and his dad would have to be having a long chat over what they will be doing next.
Very sad times

Their last YouTube report you could hear and see the sound of defeat in his voice he also said that they were nowhere near ready this year so something was up. You’re probably right about the time left what with BOPS and the animal rights activists trying to ban everything also fanciers not helping themselves by telling the public to kill any lost birds they find, just look at all the losses once again in the OLR somethings gotta give

@andy I don't know them but I've gathered they have a following but if what I read about there losses is correct and they thought they was ready obviously they have missed something or just been incredibly unlucky either way sad to hear

Something else could be going on in the background, especially when they said they were no way near ready, but still carried on. We will never know, sad
