I know you do a lot of reading from this guy. and you do like his birds. These were sold on PIPA, they are going for a lot less.

Thanks Devo.
Yes I do like the Jos Thone' pigeons. They are very high quality and combine speed with a bit of stamina, which is essential here in Oz where the racing can be pretty tough.
The Avril was called 'the fastest pigeon on earth'. Big statement but she was phenomenal.
My grizzle Thone' cock , the Big Grizzle's father is a grandson of Avril. Lovely pigeon, very intelligent, he's half human. He leaves good pigeons too. Paired to the Billion Dollar Baby, who is a Van Den Bulck, one of his youngsters was in the three that dropped together for Kevin King in the Horsham Breeder's Plate last year from 300 miles to take 3rd 4th and 5th.
Bred to sprint, but good ones find a bit of stamina I always think.

I know you really like these birds Murray, when i looked at the price they are going for. Its crazy when you consider they were sold on PIPA. I really dont know how much for, but i would say a very good price.

Murray, the Meadows OLR website, are they having problems. It is still just showing one training race?

I suspect the loft may be having problems, not the website.
I've been told everything is fine, but I'm beginning to wonder. We have had a very wet winter and good training opportunities have been rare, but he's going to need to get them going soon.
I'll keep you informed.

Thanks Leon.
Yes, they are super pigeons.
Jos has been to Australia a couple of times, those who have met him say he is a great fellow.
My own family of blue chequer W/F's with the short wings :D are grand children of a blue W/F Thone' cock, who is a beautiful pigeon.
They seem to be a benefit in any loft.

The Meadow Loft Tossed from about 15 miles today. It was a bit of a shambles apparently, after about 5 hours there are still 500 out. :o They are drifting in so hopefully most of them will in before dark.
Both of ours are back and 6 out of the 7 in the Bendigo team.
Who knows what happened.

That does not sound too good Murray, how was the weather? I just looked on the site, it does not look like a good trainer Murray.
