RAT Problem

I've just had a congregation of neighbours come to complain about rats in their gardens and they all seem to eminate from my lofts.
I have seen 1 drinking from our bird bath but they are talking 5 or 6 altogether in the middle of the day while they are sat out having a coffee.
My lofts are clean anfld tidy and I scrape out once a day.
I do have a row of conifers immediately behind thee loft which I can't get to and I suspect they may be under my loft from there.

Has anyone got a foolproof method to get rid of the little feckless on mass. The poisons that we buy today are weak and useless.
I thought I'd got rid of them in winter and stop putting any down but they are back and brazen as anything inthis hot weather

I used the rat Blocks Dave, my back garden backs on to a railway. So i just throw them over the fence, for them to find. Maybe get some and put them in the conifers, I hope you sort the problem Dave.

I never saw a Rat in over 30 years where my loft is now. But a few years ago they arrived and although I haven't seen one for a long time you MUST keep bait boxes about and check them every week. I use Vertox25 Rat & Mouse Rodent Poison Wax Bait Blocks.
