The stupid thing about paying by cheque or postal order is that it costs the RPRA to put them into the bank. A BACS payment is free.
As you’re still in the same region as before you should get your old loft number back. I had the same one even after being out of the sport for 10 years.

It's the same for and Transfers that have to be done on paper form, need to be paid for by cheque!

If you transfer more that 6 birds by by paper form, you also have to pay per form sent in!

I don't even own a cheque book!! 🤣

Just stuck in the dark age, not interested in change or representing the member's, I understand that we will all have to pay more to balance the book's with a falling membership but the RPRA should be better than this, as been said before this is 2026 not 1950 .

Transfers can be done free of charge, if both fanciers are registered and have an E-Mail with the R.P.R.A.

I feel a major overall needs to be done with the RPRA, starting with staff training. This is a computer, it contains all the data of members and their birds, dont be afraid to use it. It helps you in your job. Moving to the phone, it rings and you answer it. Then when you need information, for the member on the phone you answered. You then go to the computer and get the information needed, from the data held on the computer. Then you can give a very clear answer to the member on the phone. Dont forget when you finish your work, blow the candles out.
