My greyhound Reble Charles is racing at Hove tonight. He should get the rail in trap 1. It will be a hard race, just hop it cools down for him.

So how does this work. Is this your dog? does he live with you? to be honest i never heard much if anything about greyhound racing before you came over and you and jan talked about it once.

Rebel Charles is kept with its trainer, the kennel olds upto 40 racing dogs. So the trainer and his staff take care of him. It is a syndicate of people that have shares in him. On the site of the Kennels, we have a galloping track. Also plenty of space for plenty of walking, and fields for the dogs to have free time. This photo is of a open day, owners can visit the kennels. Rebal charles with red collar on it. Hope this answers your question Leon.

Why I appreciate that you get enjoyment out of this Devo, unfortunately I can tell you for the dogs this is far from the truth, many are after racing at the end of there short racing career's are tossed aside when either they get injury or are to slow to compete.
My daughter has or should I say rehomed an ex racer that was left with about 20 other dog's in a barn, not house trained or socialized with many issues, he has a fantastic life without the stress of racing or kennel life, I'll let others decide if this is in the interest of racing today.

Yes i agree Charlton, we have a lady on our syndicate. She rehomes the greyhounds coming to their end of racing, But i dont like the way some dogs are left at dogs trusts, they do make good pets. But they need to be cared for better by some owners.

Rebel Charles finished 3rd, he checked on last bend. He should have stuck to the rail.
